Persistent Volumes
Manage retained workspace files separately from sandbox execution.
Open Persistent Volumes to inspect reusable storage in the selected workspace. A volume keeps retained files independently of a particular sandbox process or runtime session.
Inspect the volume's identity, capacity, and attachments before changing it. Attach the intended volume when configuring compute that needs retained files, and verify the expected path inside that runtime. A sandbox snapshot and a persistent volume have different lifecycles; use the appropriate retention control for the data you need.
Before deleting a volume, review every workload that relies on it and preserve any files you still need. Stopping compute does not itself prove that durable storage was deleted or backed up. See Sandbox lifecycle and Pricing and budgets.
