Choose a surface
Choose Console, Chat, Work, an API, or the local workbench.
Use the highest-level surface that gives you the control you need.
Console
Use Console to organize your workspace, evaluate datasets and agent behavior, review training, and manage services. Start with Workspace overview for its four sidebar sections.
Chat
Use Chat for questions, explanations, and short drafts. It uses bounded host-side capabilities and does not give you general workspace compute.
Work
Use Work for multi-step outcomes that need files, commands, durable outputs, or approvals. Work adds managed compute and a reviewable execution trail.
LLM Gateway
Use the OpenAI-compatible LLM Gateway when an application needs to call a hosted model directly.
Sandboxes
Use the Sandbox SDK when you need isolated commands, files, processes, previews, or durable runtimes under your application's control.
Desktop & Open Source
Use Desktop & Open Source to keep local projects close to the work, evidence, Tasksets, and evaluation workflows that improve them.
